2. What These Terms Cover

These Terms explain how you can use nuJOB.ai, including our website, applications, dashboards, simulations, nuLAB, email communications, and integrations.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By using any part of our Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We may update these Terms occasionally. We’ll always announce major changes on our site or by email before they take effect.

4. Who Can Use nuJOB.ai

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you’re under 16, you can use nuJOB.ai only with a parent’s, guardian’s, or school’s permission. By checking the consent box during sign-up, you confirm you’ve received that permission. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials safe, and notify us immediately if your account is compromised.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

We take privacy seriously. Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.

We comply with global standards such as GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA. We share data only with vetted sub-processors under appropriate data-processing agreements. Current sub-processors include Stripe (payments and billing), Resend (transactional email), Mailchimp (marketing email opt-in), and our cloud hosting and DNS providers.

You own your data. We just protect and process it responsibly. If you want to view, correct, or delete your data, email [email protected] and we’ll handle it promptly.

6. Fair and Respectful Use

We built nuJOB.ai to be a safe, supportive space for learners, job seekers, and hiring professionals. You agree not to use the Services for anything illegal, misleading, or discriminatory, upload malware or scraping tools, misrepresent skills, reverse-engineer the platform, harass others, or misuse AI tools.

Any attempt to cheat, manipulate assessments, use unauthorized help during exams, or falsify skills and credentials is strictly prohibited and may result in suspension or deletion of your account.

7. User Content and Sharing

You own the materials you upload or create — including resumes, skill assessments, and results. By uploading, you give us permission to host and process your content solely to operate and improve our Services.

You can make your profile shareable via secure link, choose recruiter visibility, and delete or make your content private any time.

8. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds

8.1 Plans and pricing

We offer Free, Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans, each with a defined device limit and feature set. Optional add-ons (e.g. +10 devices) increase your device limit at the price shown at checkout. Prices are listed on the pricing page and may be updated from time to time; existing subscriptions retain their current price for the rest of their billing period.

8.2 Payment processor

Payments are securely processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (and its regional affiliates), our third-party payment processor and a sub-processor under our Privacy Policy. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. We never see or store your full card number; Stripe handles all card data on its compliant infrastructure.

8.3 Billing cycle and auto-renewal

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) unless you cancel. We’ll charge the payment method on file using the price applicable at renewal. You can change your billing cycle from your dashboard or Stripe Customer Portal.

8.4 Taxes

Prices on the pricing page exclude applicable taxes. Where required by law (e.g. EU/UK VAT, US sales tax in registered states), we collect and remit tax through Stripe Tax based on the billing address you provide. Business customers may enter a valid VAT/Tax ID at checkout to apply reverse-charge rules where applicable.

8.5 Cancellation

You can cancel anytime from your dashboard or the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — your access continues until then, after which your account drops to the Free tier. We do not charge cancellation fees.

8.6 EU/UK cooling-off period (14-day right of withdrawal)

If you are a consumer based in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from a paid subscription within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason. To exercise this right, email [email protected] from the address on your account before the 14-day period ends. We will refund the full amount paid for that subscription period using the original payment method. Note: by starting to use paid features during the cooling-off period, you acknowledge that we may pro-rate the refund to reflect actual usage.

8.7 Refunds outside the cooling-off period

Outside the EU/UK cooling-off window, refunds are at our reasonable discretion and generally available only for verified service outages, billing errors, or duplicate charges. To request a refund, email [email protected] with your account email and the charge in question. We aim to respond within five business days.

8.8 Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry over the following days and we may email you to update your card. If the payment is not recovered after Stripe’s retry window, your subscription is cancelled and your account drops to the Free tier; saved labs and data are preserved and become accessible again as soon as you resubscribe.

9. Warranties Disclaimer

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” While we aim for reliability, we can’t promise uninterrupted operation or guaranteed results. Contact [email protected] with concerns — we’ll resolve them fairly.
