This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of the nuLAB.ai platform, including all simulation environments, APIs, tools, and related services. This AUP is part of and supplements our Terms & Conditions. By using nuLAB.ai, you agree to comply with this policy.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all users of the nuLAB.ai platform, including free and paid subscribers, team members, API consumers, and any individual or entity accessing nuLAB.ai services. “Platform” refers to the nuLAB.ai simulation environment, web interface, portal, APIs, gateway services, and any associated tools or integrations.
2. Permitted Uses
nuLAB.ai is designed exclusively for lawful educational, training, and professional development purposes. Permitted uses include:
- Networking education and hands-on lab practice
- Certification preparation (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, and equivalent)
- Infrastructure workflow understanding and visualization
- Enterprise architecture learning and topology modeling
- Technical simulation for career-readiness preparation
- Classroom and institutional training programs
- API-based integration for educational tooling
3. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the platform to:
- Engage in any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized activity
- Distribute, upload, or host malware, viruses, exploits, or malicious code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts, labs, or data
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or platform personnel
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the platform
- Circumvent or attempt to bypass security measures, access controls, rate limits, or licensing enforcement mechanisms
- Use the platform for unauthorized penetration testing or attacks against external systems or networks
- Scrape, crawl, or programmatically extract data from the platform outside of documented APIs
- Misrepresent your identity, credentials, or organizational affiliation
- Use the platform in a manner that degrades service quality for other users
4. Third-Party Software & Intellectual Property
nuLAB.ai is a simulation-based platform. It does not provide, distribute, or bundle proprietary third-party operating system images (including but not limited to Cisco IOS, NX-OS, IOS-XR, JunOS, or similar vendor software) as part of its standard offering.
You agree not to use the platform to:
- Upload, distribute, or share proprietary vendor operating system images or firmware without proper authorization from the respective rights holder
- Use the platform as a distribution channel for copyrighted software, configurations, or materials belonging to third parties
- Circumvent or attempt to bypass software licensing mechanisms of any vendor
- Misrepresent the platform’s capabilities as including proprietary vendor software that it does not provide
Any optional customer-controlled integrations involving third-party software remain the sole responsibility of the customer or authorized owner to license and manage in accordance with applicable vendor agreements and intellectual property laws. 5. Resource Usage
To ensure fair access for all users, you agree to use platform resources responsibly:
- Do not create an excessive number of concurrent labs or devices beyond your subscription tier’s limits
- Do not use API access to generate excessive load or perform stress testing against the platform infrastructure
- Do not use automated scripts to repeatedly create and destroy resources in a manner that wastes compute capacity
- Respect rate limits on API endpoints, terminal sessions, and AI assistant interactions
6. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account:
- Keep your login credentials confidential and do not share them
- Use strong, unique passwords and enable multi-factor authentication when available
- Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
- Do not create multiple accounts to circumvent subscription limits or enforcement actions
7. Content Standards
When naming labs, devices, or sharing content through the platform, you agree that your content will not:
- Contain hateful, discriminatory, or offensive material
- Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
- Include personally identifiable information of third parties without their consent
- Contain misleading or deceptive claims about certifications or skills
8. Monitoring & Enforcement
We reserve the right to monitor usage of the platform to ensure compliance with this AUP. If we determine that a violation has occurred, we may take one or more of the following actions at our discretion:
- Issue a warning
- Temporarily suspend access to some or all platform features
- Permanently terminate your account
- Remove or disable access to offending content
- Report illegal activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities
We will endeavor to provide notice before taking enforcement action, except where immediate action is necessary to protect the platform, its users, or comply with legal obligations.
9. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any activity that violates this AUP, please report it to [email protected] or [email protected]. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. Reports may be made anonymously.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
